love

“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”  (NIV) John 13:34-35

God created us to be in relationship with Himself and with others. In eternity there will only be 2 things apart from God. . .God’s Word and God’s children. The reality of this should challenge us to seek to have more God-honoring relationships now. There are over 50 references in the New Testament about how we are to relate to “one another.” Most of these passages address our behavior, not just our attitudes.
