How much of your life is geared around just surviving? Just getting by? Or wishing for something better? In which areas of your life do you feel this way (if you do)?
During my spiritual focusing time in Psalm 108, I read several texts that strengthened my heart, but I'll share just one of them with you: "With God we will gain the victory..." (Psalm 108:13, NIV).
Consider that promise for a second. Now let me ask you this question, do you think it promises more than mere survival? Absolutely! It promises victory. David doesn't just ask God for the strength to endure. He doesn't ask God for deliverance from His problems, circumstances or challenges. He claims victory!
In addition to seeking God's help for whatever stressful or disappointing situation you might happen to be in today, seek His power to conquer it.
Let God use your problems to show you His mighty power.
Go to Him today for fresh supplies of courage, wisdom and strength to overcome your situation. Nothing can defeat those who trust in God. Nothing, place your name inside Psalm 108:13 to help you get the full impact: With God, will gain the victory!"
